Spurs and Euro 2008

The official site has a nice story  on what the players think of the tournie. I would strongly encourage you to go and read the full thing  at the site. Here is a part of it:

Euro 2008 kicks off tomorrow. Here is how the Spurs squad see it going...

Juande Ramos
"There are two or three countries who have a chance this year. I think it will be between Italy, Spain and Germany."

Ledley King
"It's strange because since England haven't qualified I've almost forgotten there's a tournament this summer! Spain always seem to fall short in major tournaments but I think this could be their year."

Robbie Keane
"I'll go for France. As a squad, I think they are the strongest nation there, with all that experience and so much talent."

Jermaine Jenas
"It's a tough one. Italy don't seem to play well at major tournaments but they always seem to get quite far. Italy, Portugal and France seem to be the favourites...so I'll say Spain!"

Alan Hutton
"I'm not too bothered about who wins - I just want to see some top quality football on my holidays! Scotland played France and Italy in qualifying and they're quality sides as we all know, so I think those two will have good tournaments."

The link's not working

Hopefully they talked to Modric, the only one who’s actually in the tournament, sadly.
