Pavlyuchenko to Start Against Chelsea?
After the signing by Spurs of Roman Pavlyuchenko, many fans of the north London side are wondering whether Pava should be thrown in at the deep end to face Chelsea on Sunday. To be honest, Spurs need to get something out of a game they usually lose -- the Bridge is not a happy ground for Tottenham.
My inclination would be to give Pava 45 mins against Chelsea but no more than that.
If I were picking the Spurs line up (with Hutton out injured) I'd start:
Gomes (goal)
Gilberto, Woodgate, King, Zokora at the back
Bale, Jenas, Huddlestone, Bentley in midfield
Modric moving between midfield and attack
Pava to start up front.
I would look to bring on Gio Dos Santos at some point in the game as well.
